REGULATIONS FOR THE PROVISION OF TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION
SERVICES BY EXCELLENCE TRANSLATIONS


§ 1

  1. In order to commission Excellence Translations to perform a translation service, the Customer delivers to Excellence a completed Translation / Interpretation Order.
  2. In case of permanent cooperation agreement, it is feasible to departure from the procedure specified in point 1.
  3. Orders can be placed both in Polish and English.
  4. Documents for translation shall be sent by means of Translation / Interpretation Order or sent to the following fax number, e-mail address or address of Excellence Translations:

  5. The dispatch of documents for translation is considered tantamount to placing an order.
  6. Both orders and cancellations of translation and interpretation services must be made in writing.


§ 2

Excellence Translations is obliged to confirm the receipt of order (documents for translation) and agree the deadline for the execution of the order with the Customer.
Excellence Translations is obliged to deliver the completed translation in electronic form to an address agreed with the Customer.
It is feasible to deliver the translated documents by fax or by mail, to the fax number or address agreed with the Customer.


§ 3

Translation and interpretation services shall be performed by Excellence Translations based on the rates determined in the price list.


A. Translations:

  1. A standard page of translation covers 1800 characters (including spaces) counted in the translated document.
  2. The rates determined in the price list are charged for each page of the translated document.
  3. All the rates are exclusive of 23% of VAT.
  4. The minimum payment charged by Excellence Translations is the price for one standard page of translation.
  5. The time scheduled for the execution of a standard translation does not include Saturdays, Sundays, bank holidays as well as the day of acceptance of the text for translation from the Customer and the day of return of the translated text to the Customer, excluding orders performed in Express Mode that shall be delivered to the Customer on the day of placing an order.


B. Authenticated (“sworn”) translations

  1. A standard page of authenticated translation covers 1125 characters (including spaces) counted in the translated document.
  2. The rates determined in the price list are charged for each page of the translated document.
  3. All the rates are exclusive of 23% of VAT.
  4. The minimum payment charged by Excellence Translations is the price for one standard page of translation.


C. Interpretations:

  1. The net rate of one hour of interpretation amounts to PLN 139,00 / EURO 35,00.
  2. The minimum order is a 4-hour interpretation block, whose net rate amounts to PLN 556,00 / EURO 140,00.
  3. The net cost of the interpreter’s travel to the place indicated by the Customer amounts to PLN 100,00 / EURO 25,00
  4. The interpreter’s working time is counted in accordance with the order placed by the Customer, specifying the starting and ending time of the interpretation.
  5. If interpretation services are delivered on Saturdays, the standard interpretation rate is increased by 50%.
  6. If interpretation services are delivered on Sundays or bank holidays, the standard interpretation rate is increased by 100%.
  7. In case of interpretation services rendered outside Warsaw, the Customer shall cover the costs of accommodation, board and transportation of an interpreter as well as 100% of the interpretation rate for every commenced hour of travel to the place indicated by the Customer.
  8. In case of cancellation of the interpretation service with less than a 48-hour notice before the start of the performance of the service, the Customer is obliged to pay an amount equal to the fee of 1 block of interpreter’s work.
  9. All the above rates are exclusive of 23% of VAT.


§ 4

  1. The cancellation of translations and interpretations must always be made in writing, i.e. an authorized person must send it by e-mail or fax to Excellence Translations.
  2. If the Customer stops the execution of the translation before its completion, he is obliged to pay to the benefit of Excellence Translations the fee for actually executed work.
  3. The Customer cannot cancel the translation order on the final day of its execution.


§ 5

  1. Any complaints concerning translations shall be dealt with by Excellence Translations within 14 days after the delivery of the translation to the Customer.
  2. Any complaint reported does not affect the deadline for the payment of the price for a given service.
  3. The liability of Excellence Translations for services performed on behalf of the Customer is limited to the amount of net fee (exclusive of VAT) for the executed services.


§ 6

  1. Invoices shall be issued by Excellence Translations following the execution of an order.
  2. Payments for the services shall be made in the form of a bank transfer to the account of Excellence Translations indicated on the invoice within 14 days from the date of its receipt by the Customer.



§ 7

  1. Excellence Translations and all persons performing translation / interpretation services on its behalf are obliged to keep all the translated texts / statements received from the Customer confidential.
  2. Upon Customer’s request, Excellence Translations is obliged to return all materials and documents received from the Customer at the time of placing the order.


§ 8

  1. In matters not regulated by these Regulations, the applicable provisions of the Civil Code should apply.
